About Us

“Ever since I began my career in professional golf a personal goal has always been to establish a foundation focused on children and their well-being. Brittany and I are grateful that we have the opportunity to live in such a caring community. We want all children in the Central Savannah River Area to have the opportunity to flourish. Our mission is to create positive environments for children to build solid foundations for successful lives." - Kevin Kisner

“Kevin and I have always had a heart for children.  As our family has grown we have become even more committed to providing opportunities for children to build a strong foundation for success in life.  We are excited to partner with deserving organizations that are focused on early learning and physical and emotional health.  Together we can make a difference for our youth and our community.” - Brittany Kisner

Q&A with Kevin and Brittany

  1. What does the city of Aiken and The CSRA mean to you?

B:  Community.  I love the diverse and unique communities we have in the CSRA.  I am proud to call this area home.

K:  Aiken and the CSRA means “home” to me.  It’s where I was born and raised and where I’m raising my children.

2. What do you love so much about the CSRA?

B:  We love raising our children in a small town.  But I also love that even in a small town, they have lots of opportunities.  Aiken is a special place and people come from all over the country to call it home.  But the entire CSRA has so much to offer.  I am grateful for the world class medical community we have in Augusta.  People here truly care about their community and want to make it better.

K:  I love the small town pace of life.  I travel all over the world for golf and I am always happy to come home.

3. What do you wish to pass on to your children?

B:  Integrity, compassion and kindness.

K:  Integrity, honesty, and the importance of both failure and hard work.

4. What does golf mean to your family?

B:  Golf has given so much to our family.  It has been such a joy to watch my husband live and achieve his dreams.  We have so many special memories traveling together as a family and have formed so many special friendships on the road.

K:  Golf has given me an opportunity to live my dreams.  My success has always been achieved through hard work and it continues to be a great ride.  I love the opportunities and world experiences my kids have had through traveling together as a family.

5. Why did you decide to start a charitable foundation?

B:  Starting a foundation was always a goal of ours.  I worked as a speech-pathologist in the CSRA and saw the great needs of children in our area.  We were also both raised to believe that “to whom much has been given, much shall be required.”   Kevin and I felt that we had a responsibility to make a difference in our area, and it has always been on our hearts to help children in need.

K:  I couldn’t have said it better.  Our parents raised us to understand the importance of giving back to our community.  When we felt like I had a platform to do so through golf, we hit the ground running.

6. If you had three hours alone on a Saturday what would you be doing?

B:  I would read a good book – preferably while sitting on the beach!

K:  It depends…is this a Saturday in the fall?  Because I’ll be watching Georgia football.  Or if it’s hunting season I’ll be in a duck, deer or turkey blind.

7. What is your favorite place you have traveled?

B:  For golf?  Pebble Beach and Carmel-by-the-sea, CA.  Not for golf?  Paris.

K:  New Zealand.

8. What did you want to be when you grew up?

B:  A variety of different careers: a doctor, a teacher.  I always knew I wanted to work with children.

K:  I can’t really remember a time when I didn’t want to be a professional golfer.

9. Do you have any pets?

B:  No, we travel too much!

K:  No, Brittany doesn’t need one more thing to take care of!

10. What are your hobbies, aside from golf or watching golf?

B:  Tennis, yoga and reading.

K:  Anything outdoors.  Hunting and fishing.  I love to be at our farm or somewhere in nature.

11. What are you afraid of?

B:  Heights!

K:  Small spaces – I can get claustrophobic.

12. Where did you two meet?

Brittany’s version: In Athens, GA while in college at the University of Georgia.  Go dawgs!

Kevin’s version:  Yep – but what Brittany fails to mention is that we were at a concert at the Georgia Theatre and SHE told me I needed to have her phone number!
